Classic Structure

What is this structure

This structure gives the bag a defined spout at both ends: a filling spout above for clean, connected loading, and a discharge spout below for controlled emptying. Material flows in through one spout and out through the other, which makes it the structure of choice for high-throughput bulk moved between silos, hoppers and process lines — automated systems where the bag is a link in a continuous flow.

The top

The filling spout connects to a filling head or hopper for a clean, sealed loading point. It suits automatic filling lines and keeps the fill contained and defined.

The bottom

The discharge spout unties to release the product in a controlled flow into the receiving point below, and re-ties to stop. Smooth, repeatable emptying into hoppers and conveyors.

Suitable Materials

High-throughput bulk materials moved between silos, hoppers and process lines — granular, powder and lump products on automated handling systems. The two-spout flow path is best where the bag is loaded and emptied repeatedly and mechanically.

Loading

The filling spout connects cleanly to a filling head or hopper, giving a defined, contained loading point on automatic lines.

Discharge

The discharge spout provides smooth, controlled emptying into the receiving point below. Flow starts and stops by untying and re-tying, which suits repeated, mechanised cycles.

Transport & Storage

Both spouts tie flat against the bag, so the structure transports and stores like a standard unit. Where very high stacking matters, a flat bottom stacks slightly squarer, but this structure handles normal palletised transport well.
